HIKE IS FULL!! Contact Art Ritter (o2behiking@yahoo.com. The hike will be out and back, about 6.5 miles in length, starting and ending at Brown Gap. We'll gradually climb about 500 feet to Blackrock Summit and its great views, then descend about 500 feet sharply to the shelter for a lunch break. Afterwards, we will repeat the process to return to the cars. Be prepared for cold weather, with layers. Because of parking restrictions, the hike will be limited to six cars. If need be, we can park a couple of cars a mile or so away and do a shuttle, so bring a mask in case we have to share rides for a short distance.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Contact Art for meeting location and time. Limited group size, social distancing, Covid-19 rules apply, no recent symptoms or contact, and no carpooling for people that are not frequently together.
