Steve Parker (Stephen.parker4@verizon.net or 804-955-7179) and Jay Henderson (hendje3@gmail.com or 804-244-2287) invite you to join them on one or both back-to-back 5 mile hikes. Do just one, or do both – your decision. The first 5 miles are not very difficult, and end back at the parking lot. After a short break (bring snacks if you wish), those who wish to do more, can then join us on an additional, somewhat harder, extra 5 miles.
Meet at 9:50 AM in the parking lot on the left-hand side of River Road West (route 6). Coming from Richmond the parking lot is about 4.25 miles past the stoplight where Rt 522 turns right in Goochland Court House.  Rt 6 continues straight.

There are picnic shelters and restrooms in the parking lot.
We will begin hiking promptly at 10:00 AM. All hike participants are required to be fully vaccinated. The trail has numerous tripping hazards such as leaves, roots, rocks and mountain bike riders. It is suggested that all wear hiking boots, especially if there have been recent rains.
