Madison Run Fire Rd (SNP)

Jenni Pendergrass (jennipendergrass55@gmail.com or 804-221-3226) Walk 5 miles uphill on the well graded Madison Fire Rd from the SNP boundary near Grottoes, VA, up to Browns Gap on Skyline Drive. We’ll have a quick lunch at the top and then walk back down to our cars. Meet at 7:30 a.m. at the Oilville/Goochland Park and Ride. Hike participants are required to be fully vaccinated.

The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.
The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.
Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
