Check it out: March 16, Lewis G. Larus trails
Steve Parker (Stephen.parker4@verizon.net or 804-955-7179) and Jay Henderson (hendje3@gmail.com or 804-244-2287) invite you to join them for an approximate 5 mile hike around the Lewis G Larus Park trails. Meet at 9:50 AM at the Trader Joe’s Parking Lot.
The parking lot is located at 3000 Stony Point Road, Richmond, VA 23235. Please park on the side nearest Stony Point Road, as we will have to cross the road to get to the park.
We will begin hiking promptly at 10:00 AM. All hike participants are required to be fully vaccinated. The trail is moderately difficult with numerous hazards such as leaves roots, rocks, and mountain bike riders. It is suggested that all wear hiking boots, especially if there have been recent rains. Please note that the Park has no restrooms.
