Bill Tennant (Willyten10@aol.com or (804) 282-0590) Let’s take a trip to historic Fredericksburg and see the sights. We’ll walk about 5 miles around downtown and the surrounding area and tell some history and Civil War stories, some of which may be true. Optional lunch in town after this 2.5-3 hour walk. No need to sign up, just show up with your normal sunny disposition. You can either 1) join us in a carpool($5 per rider) leaving from the Food Lion parking lot (on the corner of Route 54 and Route 1) in Ashland at 8:30, or 2) meet us at the visitor center in Fredericksburg at 706 Caroline Street for the beginning of the hike at 9:30. Contact Bill if you have any questions.
