The Club will hold its kick off meeting for the Fall season on Tuesday, September 13.
Fall is prime hiking season in Virginia. Our speaker will be renowned local photographer, Bill Draper. His photos are definitely a must-see!! Bill’s presentation will be a wonderful introduction, and reminder to many, of the beautiful areas to hike and visit in Shenandoah National Park and along our stretch of the James River in Richmond. Bill will also provide a few tips on taking that memorable shot.
We will meet at the Tuckahoe Library at 6:30. Business meeting starts at 7:00. Masks are not required but recommended. No snacks will be provided.
The ODATC Mission
The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.
The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.
Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
