Hollywood Cemetery is more than a cemetery, this spectacular outdoor museum is a living story in stone, iron, and landscape. It is one of the most historic and beautiful cemeteries in the United States, with presidents, generals, authors, suffragists, and other famous notables laid to rest in this nationally accredited Arboretum. Learn about the history, burial symbolism, and landscape design features during this walking tour of this gem of a peaceful haven known as Hollywood Cemetery. Margot Stegmaier, a previous Hollywood Cemetery tour guide has graciously agreed to lead this walk. For this 5-miler we’re meeting at the cemetery (412 South Cherry Street, Richmond) and you can park in the small lot or on the street.
