What could be better than a hike in and around Colonial Williamsburg during the holiday season?
Join Joanne and Ellie for a 9-mile hike through the campus of William and Mary, the commercial and civic areas of Williamsburg, and Bassett Trace Nature Trail adjacent to a golf course. (hiking shoes suggested)
We will begin the hike promptly at 9:00 and finish by 1:00 for lunch on your own in the Williamsburg area. Bring water and a snack for the hike. Restrooms available at the beginning and midway points.
Williamsburg offers history, golf, and shopping opportunities, so you may want to arrange to carpool with friends and extend your day in Williamsburg.
Those of you interested in the yearly Grand Illumination event in Colonial Williamsburg can attend the event on the following evening, Saturday, Dec 3
