Ted McGarry (804-218-1238). Two hour hike on a lightly used portion of Battlefield Park Road to the Osborne Landing Park on the James River (restrooms) and return. Meet at the Fort Harrison Visitor Center parking lot near 8621 Battlefield Park Rd. Henrico, VA. Optional lunch: Three recommendations. Meet at 9:50 AM.
The ODATC Mission
The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.
The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.
Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
