Mark your calendar for the Triple T!! I plan to offer hikes from Jan-May on the third Thursday of the month. These will start off being local to 1.5 hours away which covers most of the state parks located within 1.5 hours of Richmond. State parks will have an entrance fee or you can purchase an annual pass. Hikes will be 7 - 10 miles and limited to 15 participants. Locations may change depending on the weather forecast. For details contact Theresa Duffey (taduffey2054@comcast.net).
How about a brisk walk along the river and through the woods, whether we make it to Grandmother's house or not?! Enjoy a pleasant day hiking approximately 8 miles at York River State Park. Trail will take us along the river, Taskinas Creek, and through upland and cove forests. Bring water and lunch or snacks. Maybe a stop at the hike leader’s favorite barbeque place after the hike!
