This will be a moderately strenuous 8 mile day hike in the Massanutten Mountain Range. Hike has an elevation change of 1700 feet and and includes scenic views of the northern Shenandoah Valley and a visit to the wonderful Emerald Pond as we cross paths with George Washington. Come prepared for the weather!. We will meet at the Parking Lot at New Market Gap on Rt 211 at 9:30 am . (Old US Forest Service Visitor Center) Hike limited to 12.
