Bill Tennant (804-814-5570 or Willyten10@aol.com) Can't waste days like we're having. This is about 9 miles with some gentle ups and downs and one (hopefully) easy rock-hopping creek crossing. Located just south of Charlottesville. No need to sign up, just show up. We leave the Oilville Park and Ride at 8:30 and start hiking from the Walnut Creeek parking lot near the lake pavillion at about 9:45. Pack a lunch to eat at lakeside. We should be back to Richmond by 3 or 4. Possilbe to cut the hike short and return earlier if you need to. Contact Bill with any questions. Let's go for a walk!
