Bill Tennant (804-814-5570 or Willyten10@aol.com) Come join me on a 5 mile walk around downtown Fredericksburg and the surrounding neighborhoods and battlefields. We'll discover some of the history of Fredericksburg and tell a few Civil War stories, some of which may even be true. Optional lunch after the hike at one of the many Fredericksburg restaurants. No need to sign up, just show up. We'll carpool from the Food Lion parking lot at the corner of Route 1 and Route 54 in Ashland, leaving from there at 9, or you can drive directly to Fredericksburg and meet us there. The hike starts from the Fredericksburg Visitor Center at 706 Caroline Street at 10. Contact Bill if you need any further information.
