Wednesday, June 7. Sonny Bowyer (804)339-5560 will lead a hike through parts of the Woodland Heights neighborhood, Forest Hill Park and shaded parts of the Buttermilk Trail.

Meet at Sonny’s house at 3201 Semmes Ave by 9:00 am and park on 32nd Street. Carpooling encouraged. Restrooms in Forest Hill Park and the Reedy Creek Parking Lot. Lunch options at Maldini’s Ristorante across from O’Toole’s for a change of pace!

The ODATC Mission

The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.

The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.

Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
