Moderately Strenuous Shuttle Hike of 7 miles with 308 ft of Elevation Gain and 1750 ft loss. We will meet at St Mary’s Trail Parking Area. Then after a 30 minute shuttle start hiking at the Mine Bank Creek Trailhead on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Lunch at St Mary Falls or a nearby swimming-wading hole. Be sure to bring plenty of water, lunch-snacks, towel, bug-sun and weather protection. There will be at least 5 wet stream crossings so in addition to hiking boots and poles would recommend consideration of water shoes or boots. Hike limit 10 with No Dogs.
