Come to Five Forks Battlefield at 9:50 am. It is unit of the Petersburg Battlefield system, but is located in Church Road , Virginia ( Dinwiddie County) If you put Five Forks in your GPS it will bring you there. Park in the small lot where the Five Forks come together. The Visitor Center is closed. There is a restroom at the horse trailhead. The trails are not wide, and have roots and leaves, but are relatively flat. Route 1 Country Store is a Mennonite store with delicious sandwiches and lots of sweet treats, and is a good place for lunch.

The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.
The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.
Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
