Please note that there have been multiple construction delays on Beach Road over the past several weeks. Keeping that in mind, join me for hiking approximately 4.5 miles along the Co-Op Trail and more. The park entrance is on Beach Road (Rt. 655) 4.1 miles west of Rt. 10 (Ironbridge Rd.). Beyond the contact station follow State Park Road a mile or so then turning right towards the pool. Meet at 9:50 by the restrooms and soda machines. There is a $7 parking fee and having exact change would be a good idea in case the contact station is closed. VA State Park Passholders need only to display their parking pass. Beware that VA State Parks do patrol and write parking fines.
