York River State Park Explorer Hike (C3)

A 7 mile hike with an optional to hike an additional 2 ½ miles. Elevation gain of 300 to 500 ft. This is my first hike at York River so we will be exploring what the Park has to offer. To learn more about the Park, visit https://www.dcr.virginia.gov/state-parks/york-river. . Additional updates as we get closer to the date. This hike has a limit of 10 with no dogs for this event. The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.

The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.

Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
